Russian village

This Russian village order was one of my first large terrain orders. it was a really fun challenge to pick the right colors and build a palette that suited the set. I especially enjoyed the church which really came out fantastically and the bright blue and stark white really pop. 

Snow Terrain

For this order, the client provided me with a plastic aeroplane that I was to "destroy and mount". The finished result is exciting and dramatic. I can imagine it on the tabletop dominating the battlefield, telling that strong and flowing narrative of the crashing plane bouncing across the battlefield and lying wrecked. It also included a set of trenches and some custom handmade hills which I designed and created with pink foam. This order really helped me to hone my snow mix too, and there was a lot of snow...
