19th CENTURY
Purple and Blue Samurai
Painted to face off against the red and beige samurai. A similar painting method was used but with less of a focus on black lining the armor as the complimentary paint scheme of the purple and blue didn't require it as much.
Red and beige samurai
This small commission is inspired by the movie "The Last Samurai" (yes I know that's a cliche) but I adore that film and it holds a close place in my heart so I used the Armor of the main Samurai in the movie as the inspiration for this armor.
Old West Law men and Outlaws
In a nice quiet period for commissions i painted up this great collection of Old West models I've been collecting for a while. I've always enjoyed Old West models more than any other type of model. They have a fairly strict color palette but also the freedom within that is amazing. I'm very happy with these.
Plains indians
This mix of plains indians was a really fun lot. Granted the paint scheme is likely not very historically accurate but the primary tones really make them stand out on the table and they appear as one large and unified force which I am sure looks daunting on the table.
