This Christmas, I am running a mad deal, save up to £700.00 by commissioning a whole historical army and get gaming with them in the new year! Details in below image: This Christmas, as a thank you to previous clients and a welcome offer to new ones, I am offering deep discounts once again, specifically for historical miniatures. Historical miniature wargaming has always been a passion of mine. Over the years, I've painted thousands of bolt-action models, not to mention Old West models and other historical periods. Each tier of 10, 20, 50, and 100 models saves the collector a lot of money. This applies broadly to Historical miniatures, though some, e.g. napoleonics, may be denied for this Deal. If you haven't worked with me before, I'm fast, affordable, and quality. There are no corners cut, and you'll get regular updates throughout the process. WHY HISTORICALS: Because that's what I enjoy painting most so these commissions are as much a gift to myself as to you. WHY SUCH A BIG DISCOUNT (AND IS THERE A CATCH?) Work has dwindled in 2025 and I am on the cusp of not being able to afford my current studio space. By offering huge discounts, I hope to catch some new customers for the new year. The only catch is that some armies (e.g., Napoleonic) may be denied this deal at this time due to their complexity. HOW DO I GET A QUOTE: Email [email protected] for a free quote. WHEN WILL I GET MY MINIATURES BACK? Commissions with EZPainter take roughly 1-2 months, though most are done within three weeks on average. Some recent historical infantry examples:

Years ago, I made my own washes, and with the potential to return to a "levelled" painting system, I would require a lot of dark brown wash for that. So I knocked up a new bottle during a studio tidy-up. Sadly, I think the paint I used was a bit too grainy for general use, as you can see on the test model below it's a bit dusty, but for old west models or really any middle 19thC stuff it should work well. Not to mention terrain that needs weathering. Also note, I accidentally melted the gun on this model. So he's got a wonky gun. Extra side note: that's a blade of grass on his hat I think!
Recently I bought the Firefly Brigands and Browncoats board game for myself and I've painted the minis from the box. I adore having miniature representations of the characters from the show. The game comes with two versions of each model to represent casual and alert models (although so far the necesity for both is slightly lacking in the game mechanics). The game itself has just enough good systems and hard work that's gone into it, that I may continue to work on it at home and re-draft some of the rules and stuff. It has the air of "threw a bunch of money at the art and production but didn't pay the game designers". I'd be very intrigued to talk to someone from the creative team sometime. I've also created this little dog gang for use in the game as alternative goons. I reckon they could add some interesting aspects to the system, perhaps sniffing out the heroes as they sneak about at night.
